What is gun running? That was the question I asked when I first heard the name. How do you think the army got field guns over hills when cranes, helicopters and trucks weren’t around? Man power! What does this have to do with Spirit of Place you might ask? Well, as usual we like to make most things competitive. So the Headmaster decided to make gun running a sport. So each team consists of 10-12 people. The aim of the game is to dismantle the guns and run them over a certain distance and then put the guns together again. This competition is a highlight of Speech Day. Also there is an Annual competition at Earls Court.
