Bored of watching music videos
on Youtube? Looking for something new? Check out Canford’s
very own pop band covering the sixties hit ‘Build Me Up Buttercup’.
Will Hanley, Emily Habin, Kate Hicks, Cameron Marsh, Mike Sugdon,
Alex Wilding, Josh Habin and Jack Stone feature in a unique pop
video created by themselves.
Following his cover of ‘Wannabe’ by the Spice Girls
at the Kenya Concert, Will Hanley now goes on to feature in this
cover with Kate Hicks singing, Will himself on guitar, Cameron Marsh
on drums, Mike Sugdon on keyboard and Alex Wilding on base and maybe
even Josh Habin on the bongos this video is undoubtedly going to
be an interesting one.
The ‘cheesy’ image of a pop video will be taken to a
whole other level when this group of pupils film the video around
school, using many of the facilities and also possibly a cleaner
and some staff. The theme of the video as described by Will Hanley
will be ‘Torture Love’, with Kate Hicks and Josh Habin
featuring as the star roles.
